Singer Shallipopi encourages fellow artists to price their services in alignment with their worth, emphasizing the connection between value and success in the music industry.
In an interview with News Central TV, he addressed the ongoing discussion about the high fees charged by Nigerian artists and dismissed the belief that they have priced themselves out of the market.
Shallipopi suggested that artists who achieve comparable streaming numbers as American artists should demand similar fees.
“It depends on your music and where it has gotten, that is what your price is going to be.
“If your music has gotten the same stream as an American artiste, you should be charging the same way they charge but if is not up to that you cannot overcharge,” he stated.
