Piers Morgan has placed a £10,000 bet on Erik ten Hag winning either the Champions League or the Premier League during his tenure at Manchester United.

Piers Morgan mocked Ten Hag for his reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo’s comments about the Dutchman’s mindset.

After a series of clashes, Ronaldo left Manchester United for Al Nassr in 2022.

When Ronaldo appeared on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, he criticized Ten Hag’s leadership, particularly his public remarks suggesting that Manchester United couldn’t compete in top competitions.

Ten Hag brushed off Ronaldo’s criticism, attributing it to the distance between them and the day-to-day happenings at Manchester United.

And taking to his X handle, Piers Morgan, who is a huge Ronaldo fan, wrote: ”Ronaldo won 3 Premier League trophies and a Champions League trophy at United.

“I’ll bet Ten Hag £10,000 to charity he never wins either at United.”
