Ugandan singer Sheebah Kalungi, popularly known as Sheebah, has revealed why she never intends to marry. Despite not harbouring any resentment toward those who are married or planning to be, Sheebah expressed that marriage simply isn’t for her.
The singer has frequently emphasized her independence, sharing that she began fending for herself at the young age of 14 without any family assistance.
She has worked hard over the years to achieve stability, and now, with her own house and a sense of security, Sheebah feels fulfilled.
She explained that she values her autonomy too much to give her life over to anyone else, especially a man.
The singer noted that she doesn’t want to be told what to do, and living in her own home allows her to remain in control of her life and provide for her family in the way she sees fit.
“I will never leave my house to live with a man, marriage is not my thing. I know there are some people who like being told what to do but I am not that kind of person. All I want of to be independent in my house,” – Sheebah
