Heartbreak for Arsenal As Stones’ Last-Minute Equalizer Stuns Fans After Trossard’s Shocking Red Card Drama

Manchester City

John Stones’ 98th-minute equaliser saved Manchester City from losing and dashed Arsenal’s hopes of a memorable victory at the Etihad.

Despite playing with ten men for over half of the game, Arsenal was on the verge of a big victory until Stones scored from a late corner. His goal extended City’s unbeaten home record to 48 games.

Erling Haaland gave City an early lead with his 100th goal for the club.

Arsenal responded brilliantly, with debutant Riccardo Calafiori smashing a 20-yard screamer past Ederson.

Gabriel then put Arsenal ahead with a header just before half-time, but Leandro Trossard’s red card in added time left the Gunners battling with a man down for the entire second half.

David Raya made crucial saves to deny Haaland and City, but Stones’ last-gasp strike ensured the champions snatched a point, breaking Arsenal’s hearts and sending City back to the top.
