Kesha has officially launched her own record label, Kesha Records, as part of a deal with Warner Music Group.
“I am proud to announce this partnership for the distribution of my music through Kesha Records,” said Kesha. “My name has become synonymous with transparency, integrity, and safety, and I want to ensure that these values are upheld for myself and any future artists signed to my label.”
She continued, “Music has the power to connect the world, and I aspire for my work to be a beacon of light and goodness. I am excited to take control of my narrative and rewrite my story in the music business.”
This marks the first time in her career that she will have creative control over her music.
After a legal battle with her former producer, Dr. Luke, Kesha was able to break free from her contract with Kemosabe Records.
Despite facing pressure to recant her accusations of abuse, Kesha remained steadfast in her pursuit of justice.
Now, with a new album set to be released in 2025, she is embracing her independence and taking her music career into her own hands.
