A Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, said she does not support Nigeria’s recent power outage.
Kate Henshaw’s reply came as news spread that Band A subscribers may expect a raise in their electricity rate.
Kate Henshaw tweeted that Nigeria’s present electrical banding is blatant robbery and that no other country in the world operates its electricity in this manner.
Kate Henshaw recommended that the authorities in control of electricity provide equal electricity to everyone and tax them based on their consumption.
Kate Henshaw’s tweet about electricity resonated with a lot of people, as they joined her in lamenting over the hike in electricity tariffs.
