The EFCC is prepared to take former Kogi governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to court over the N8.2 billion fraud allegation.
The spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, stated that Bello will have to face justice like other officials and individuals facing similar charges.
He warned against attempts to hinder the investigation and assured that the commission will present all evidence in court to prove the case.
The agency is determined to see that the money laundering charges against Bello are pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
”EFCC is eager to engage the former governor in the courtroom, where the avalanche of evidence so painstakingly assembled can be presented.
