The attorney for Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has stated that his client could not appear before the House of Representatives as scheduled due to health concerns.
Bobrisky was set to testify on Monday about claims that he paid Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officers to drop money laundering charges against him and influence the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) to avoid prison time.
These charges were made by social media activist VeryDarkMan via a leaked audio.
However, when Bobrisky was scheduled to appear, his lawyer notified the parliamentarians that he was experiencing health problems.
However, the House of Representatives demanded medical proof to validate Bobrisky’s lawyer’s assertions.
