Kellyrae, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, has responded to the disapproval from his wife Kassia’s family regarding the management’s decision to support him over her during the reality show.
The couple, known as DoubleKay, originally shared a management team, but after being split up in the competition, the management chose to back Kellyrae instead of Kassia.
While Kassia acknowledged that it was the right decision in a post-eviction interview, she mentioned that her family was unhappy about the situation.
He expressed disappointment in his in-laws for not supporting the management’s choice in a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos.
Host: “Kassia said her family isn’t happy about your management’s decision to back you to progress on the show ahead of her.”
KellyRae: “Yeah, they are not happy. But they should understand that she is now married.”
The couple dated for ten years before getting married eight months ago.
