Peter Obi questions Tinubu’s whereabouts as 2 weeks leave elapses

There Would Be Anarchy If Rule Of Law Is Truncated – Peter Obi Lawyer Slams President Tinubu, Warns Judiciary

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the last election, expressed disappointment that President Bola Tinubu has been absent from the country during a time of economic and other challenges.

Tinubu left Nigeria on October 2 for a two-week working vacation in the UK, followed by a trip to Paris for an important engagement.

Two weeks after his departure, Peter Obi questioned why the president has not yet returned.

“The President had told us he would only be gone for 14 days. The 14 days have passed now, and we are waiting to see him in the country.

“One would have expected him to return earlier than expected, considering the volume of work that needs to be done in a troubled nation like ours.

“The untold hardship that has been unleashed on our people as a result of some of his administration’s policies is unimaginable and we need his urgent attention to pilot the nation out of this present situation”, he said.
