Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti recently honored his late father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, who passed away 27 years ago.
In a touching Instagram post, Seun Kuti spoke about the enduring impact that Fela has had on their lives.
He expressed his deep love and respect for his father, noting that every element of his music is a tribute to Fela’s lasting influence.
“Every year since you passed to the great beyond, your impact on our lives has continued to grow.
“Every note, every phrase, every dance, every song and every album is to show my love for you. “I miss you! I play my sax for you dad, I live for your legacy and I am loyal to the mission. Love you big man more than words can express.”
