Nigerian priest Apostle Johnson Suleman has reacted to actress Halima Abubakar’s public apology.
Halima backed down from her dispute with the prominent priests after issuing genuine apologies.
She also apologized to Apostle Suleman for defaming him and causing significant harm to his ministry and family.
The actress admits to making false accusations against the cleric and asked for his pardon. She also expressed sincere contrition for ruining his reputation, hoping her letter might partially restore the harm.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, Apostle Suleman told people to stop calling his phone. He noted that forgiveness isn’t memory loss. He stated that he was maintaining the status quo.
“You all stop calling my phone.
Forgiveness is not memory loss!
Status quo maintained!
