GRAMMYs Make the Move to Disney

The GRAMMY Awards will have a new home in 2027. it has been revealed that Music’s Biggest Night will be relocating to Disney in a massive new agreement.

The GRAMMYs will end their 50-year history on CBS and will be simulcast on Disney’s ABC, Hulu, and Disney+ beginning in 2027.

Furthermore, the Disney Entertainment Group will produce several GRAMMY-themed specials.

The global agreement will bring the GRAMMYs, Oscars, and Super Bowl under the same media umbrella for the first time in history in 2027.

Dana Walden, co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, stated in a statement:

“As The Walt Disney Company combines forces with the Recording Academy to open this exciting new chapter in the history of the GRAMMYs, we do so with pride and gratitude. Live events have never been more important to our culture and industry, and we just acquired one of the crown jewels, adding to our portfolio of world-class programming across all genres.”

Harbey Mason Jr,  Recording Academy CEO,  added:
