Reality TV personality Leo DaSilva has recently raised eyebrows by publicly criticizing believers who use titles like “Daddy” and “spiritual father” when referring to pastors.
This statement has sparked a range of reactions from social media users.
On a platform like X, Leo Dasilva shared his concerns about these expressions, labeling them as a “red flag.”
“My Daddy, ‘My Spiritual Daddy,’ ‘my father in the Lord’ to describe your pastor is a red flag,” Leo wrote, questioning the need for such intimate labels for religious leaders.
He further explained that his two-year study of theology was a personal endeavor to gain a deeper understanding of scripture.
Leo Dasilva emphasized the importance of individuals seeking knowledge themselves in order to cultivate a genuine love for God, rather than solely relying on others for their faith.
“I went to theology school for 2 years, not because I want to become a pastor but to understand the word of God even more.
“If you claim to love God, you will try to learn about God yourself. It’s like saying you love someone you don’t even know. Don’t be a sheep to everything,” he added.
