President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to swear in seven new ministers on Monday, barring any unforeseen changes.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.
Disclosing this via X, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, wrote: “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.
“The ministers are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
“Others are Dr Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment), Idi Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad – Minister of State Education.
“The Senate cleared the ministers last week.”
In a previous announcement on October 23, Tinubu reassigned 10 ministers to new portfolios, discharged five others, and nominated seven new ministers.
After screening, all seven nominees were confirmed by the Senate on October 31, 2024.
