As previously reported, Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for the 2024 United States presidential election, was beaten by Republican opponent Donald Trump in the fight to become the country’s 47th commander-in-chief.
Originally scheduled to deliver her concession speech shortly after his victory was proclaimed on Tuesday night (November 5), Harris postponed it until Wednesday (November 6), when she went to her alma mater, Howard University in Washington, D.C., to concede officially.

Speaking firmly and with vigor, Harris stated:
“While I concede this election, I don’t concede the fight that fueled this campaign. The fight for feeedom, opportunity, fairness, and dignity of all people, and ideals at the heart of this nation… that is a fight I will never give up.”
