Vivian Wilson, the daughter of Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk who is transgender, has announced her decision to leave the United States following the election victory of Donald Trump.
In a post on Threads, the 20-year-old revealed her unease with the prospect of Trump serving another term in office.
She wrote: “I don’t see my future in the United States.
“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. Even if he’s only in office for four years, even if anti-trans regulations don’t materialise, the people who voted for this arent going anywhere anytime soon”.
