Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, widely recognized as AY Makun, alongside his estranged spouse, Mabel, is reportedly embroiled in a tumultuous and intense dispute that has precariously jeopardized their once-esteemed marital relationship—particularly concerning the welfare of their children.
The couple has been under public scrutiny since their separation earlier this year, following two decades of matrimony, a partnership that was previously perceived as unshakeable. AY himself made the shocking announcement via social media, effectively dispelling the rumors and exposing the emotional distress that accompanied their dissolution.
In a recent development, Nigerian blogger Stella Dimoko has introduced a provocative twist that has left the online community in a state of upheaval.
According to Stella, the former partners are presently engaged in a contentious and high-stakes battle over child custody.
Her post, according to an alleged insider, reads:
“Mabel has refused AY to have a phone or physical contact with their 2nd daughter, but once Mabel goes out, the Nanny will call AY to have quality time with his daughter on the phone.”
The heat of the situation seems to have escalated, with Mabel allegedly restricting AY’s access to their second daughter, refusing him the opportunity to see her.
Stella revealed that Mabel caught AY Makun on an unexpected day when she returned home from work, a moment that seemingly ignited the fire of their ongoing battle.
To make matters even more dramatic, it’s been revealed that Mabel is now pushing for the intervention of the courts, with the matter set to be handled by a judge.
She continued;
“On one of those times, Mabel returned home and met their daughter on the phone with AY on the Nannys phone and all hell broke loose for the Nanny who was sacked immediately and sent her back to the village that same day.”
