Big Brother Naija star and media personality Phyna has publicly chastised a Lagos eatery for denying her access owing to her inappropriate attire.
The reality personality took to X (previously Twitter) to express her dissatisfaction in a message accompanied by a video of her wardrobe.
Phyna wore a black gown with a backless design that displayed her chest and cleavage.
“So I went to have dinner at one CALI RESTAURANT Abi what they call the place 😂😂😂 omo they said I’m dressed indecently and I can’t enter o. WTF!!!!!” she wrote.
The incident has sparked heated conversations online, with fans and critics weighing in on the restaurant’s policy and Phyna’s response.
While some supporters defended her freedom to dress as she pleases, others argued about the importance of adhering to dress codes in specific establishments.
A fan @iknownimos wrote, “What’s wrong with the dressing, I think people are still stuck with that African mentality. Anyways, it’s the restaurant loss, I hope they said it in a polite manner. If not, you sue.”
Another user @viktorbensonyt added, “At the peak of status, you will find that decency is a core virtue. Nobody wants to see your breast and nyash in a place of business and financial negotiations.”
