Why I don’t believe in God anymore – Kemi Badenoch

"We don’t force anyone to acknowledge being Nigerian" - Abike Dabiri

Kemi Badenoch, the contentious leader of the United Kingdom’s Conservative Party, recently discussed her faith on a podcast with Free Press editor Bari Weiss.

In the interview, she shared that she has transitioned from believing in God to identifying as agnostic, rather than atheist. She now considers herself a “cultural Christian.”

Kemi Badenoch said, “I don’t believe in God anymore. But I am not an atheist, I am agnostic. I used to believe in God very much but now I describe myself as a cultural Christian.

“I don’t think it matters if people believe in God or not. What matters is what they do with the belief or the lack of it.”
