Drake generously gifted $10,000 (£7920) to a lucky female fan who won his look-alike competition in Toronto.
Hosted by Casuals Cakery, fans gathered to participate in the event in the rapper’s hometown.
The bakery shared a screenshot of a DM from Drake himself, promising to donate “10 bands” as the main prize.
“Yes this is true and real and I hope the Drake doppelgängers are ready. Let’s go,” the caption read.
Makayla Chambers won the grand prize by dressing up with pigtails, a fake goatee, an oversized beige sweater, and black pants, resembling Drake’s look from earlier in the year.
She beat out several other participants who impersonated different versions of the five-time Grammy winner.
The event even featured contestants dressed as ‘Ozempic Drake’, ‘Denim Drake’, and ‘Durag Drake’, as seen in an Instagram Reel shared by a local influencer.
Drake reposted several videos from the event on his Story, writing, “I love this city” with a series of laughing emojis.
Several celebrity look-alike contests have gone viral since actor Timothée Chalamet turned up to his own competition in New York City in October.
