Tyler Perry has clarified the reported third instalment of ‘Why Did I Get Married?’
The beloved franchise, which includes Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith, Perry, and Malik Yoba, has sparked speculation of a sequel.
Perry took to social media in October with a script tease after other film actors teased on TikTok.
However, on an interview on the Sherri program to promote his current picture, ‘The Six Triple Eight,’ the actor denied any immediate plans for ‘Why Did I Get Married 3?’
When quizzed by host Sherri Shepherd about if a new movie is in motion, Perry candidly quipped:
“I don’t think so. I want to, I want to. But there are a lot of logistics, but hopefully, we can pull it together. Everyone’s doing different things. Janet’s on tour, Jill’s on tour, I got a few things going on. Timing would to fall in place and everything else would have to fall into place.”
