Mbuso Mandela, along with four hijacking suspects, was apprehended on Wednesday at his grandfather Nelson Mandela‘s residence in Houghton.
Mbuso is set to attend a court hearing at the Johannesburg magistrate’s court on Friday alongside the other suspects.
The arrests came after a vehicle tracking company provided information on the whereabouts of a hijacked white Toyota Corolla on Louis Botha Avenue in Oaklands on Wednesday, according to Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) spokesperson Xolani Fihla.
Fihla stated that the police successfully recovered the vehicle and made the arrests.
