Meghan Markle has paused the release of her new Netflix lifestyle series after the Los Angeles wildfires. ‘With Love, Meghan’ was scheduled to premiere tonight (January 12).
The series features the Duchess of Sussex spotlighting her tips for cooking, gardening, and more with her close ones, including Mindy Kaling and her husband, Prince Harry.
However, the royal family has requested that the debut be delayed to a new date in March to assist with relief efforts for those affected by unprecedented wildfires.
A statement from the streamer shared the news. It read:
“At the request of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and with the full support of Netflix, the release of the show — a heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California — has been moved from its previously announced January premiere date to March 4, due to the ongoing devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires.”
The Duchess added:
“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
