Laura Ikeji Kanu, the Nigerian businesswoman, has suggested that the wives of internet fraudsters, commonly referred to as Yahoo boys, should face arrest alongside their husbands for their involvement in fraudulent activities.
Laura Ikeji believes that these women should not only benefit from the illicit gains of their husbands but also bear the consequences when caught in criminal activities.
She shared these thoughts on her Instastory.
She wrote:
Wives of Yahoo men should also be arrested when these men are arrested, don’t u think so? Y’all enjoy with them but don’t want to suffer with them?
It’s for better or worse baby girl. Go carry ya birkin in jail.
