Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has recently expressed his longing for his time at Old Trafford and has revealed that he will not be taking on a new managerial role until July 1, starting fresh at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.
While there have been rumors linking him to the Borussia Dortmund job, Ten Hag is yet to confirm his next move.
Speaking about his time at United, Ten Hag admitted:
“If there’s one thing I miss, it’s Old Trafford. We’ve had many highs at Manchester United, but as I always say, there is always room for improvement. Good is not enough.”
During his tenure at United, he led the team in 128 games and secured victories in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
It has also been reported that his departure, along with his coaching staff, cost Manchester United £14.5 million in severance payments.
