Eniola Badmus, an actress and Special Assistant for Social Events and Public Hearings to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas, has reaffirmed her endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu despite the prevailing economic challenges in the country.
Eniola Badmus had previously campaigned fervently for Tinubu during the lead-up to the 2023 presidential elections and has now stated that her loyalty to him remains unwavering.
In an Instagram post, Eniola Badmus wrote, “[I am] still standing on Daddy Seyi [Tinubu]’s mandate.”
Her post elicited mixed reactions, with some commenters accusing her of being insensitive to the plight of Nigerians, who are facing hardship as a result of President Tinubu’s poor economic policies.
