Celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and Chelsea Handler took to social media to celebrate 420, the unofficial cannabis holiday that is observed every year on 20 April by marijuana enthusiasts worldwide.
This year, Easter coincided with 420, prompting Dogg to dress up as the Easter Bunny in a humorous post.
Handler shared a sketch from her show, Chelsea Lately, featuring her as a judge inspecting a bag of marijuana, while Wiz Khalifa posted a video on Instagram of himself smoking two joints at once.
“Happy 4/20. Time to get stoned until everything is funny,” the musician – who has his own weed brand Khalifa Kush – captioned the video.
Despite varying legal statuses of marijuana globally, many celebrities, including Snoop Dogg, have ventured into the cannabis business.
Snoop Dogg even owns a weed dispensary in Los Angeles called SWED A Snoop Dogg Dispensary LAX.
Known for his love of marijuana, Snoop has reportedly cut down on his 150-joint-a-day habit, as revealed by his blunt roller Renegade Piranha in a 2023 interview with MailOnline.
