President Bola Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Monday night following a two-week working visit to Europe.
He arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 9:50 p.m., where the Secretary received him to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and other senior government officials.
The President had departed Nigeria on April 2 for Paris, France, where he held a high-level meeting with Mr. Massad Boulos, the U.S. Department of State’s Senior Advisor for Africa.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in regional security and sustainable economic development across Africa.
Following his engagements in Paris, Tinubu continued to London for further consultations while maintaining communication with officials back in Abuja.
