BREAKING: Tribunal upholds FCCPC’s $220m fine against Meta

Meta to Acquire AI Startup Manus in $2bn–$3bn Deal

The Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal has confirmed the $220 million fine imposed on Meta Platforms Incorporated by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC.

Ondaje Ijagwu, the Director for Corporate Affairs at FCCPC, announced this decision in a statement on Friday.

Additionally, the tribunal granted the commission $35,000 to cover the expenses of the investigation.
