Popular Nigerian comedian I Go Save has expressed concern over the increasing prevalence of begging in public spaces across the country.

Taking to his Instagram story, the comedian shared a heartfelt message reflecting the harsh realities many Nigerians face daily.

According to him, the act of soliciting money has become rampant in places such as airports, nightclubs, restrooms, restaurants, and public parks. While acknowledging the economic challenges currently facing the nation, I Go Save urged citizens to exercise restraint and empathy.

“The rate of begging in this country’s public space is alarming,” he wrote.
“Airports, nightclubs, restrooms, restaurants, parks, et al. I know say country hard but make una calm down o! Na same country we dey abeg but help who you can sha.”

His post struck a chord with many Nigerians online, as it highlights both the growing desperation among citizens and the need for compassion and community support during difficult times.
