Meghan Markle has delighted fans by sharing the clearest image of Princess Lilibet since 2022, in a heartfelt birthday tribute marking her daughter’s 4th birthday.
In a touching black-and-white photo posted to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex is seen embracing Lilibet on her lap, with both sporting windswept hair.
Unusually, the image reveals part of Lilibet’s face — including her eyes and upper features — while Meghan’s arms gently cover her nose and mouth.
A second photo also shared shows Meghan cradling Lili shortly after her birth in 2021, offering a rare and intimate look at their mother-daughter bond.
Posting at midnight California time, Meghan wrote:
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
The post has sparked celebration among royal fans, as Meghan and Prince Harry typically keep both Lilibet and Prince Archie out of the public eye to protect their privacy.
Princess Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor is seventh in line to the British throne.
