Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has shared a personal note written by his daughter, Halle Dakolo, in which she expressed concerns over perceived unfair treatment from her mother, Busola Dakolo.
In the handwritten note, Halle recounted a recent disagreement she had with her brother, Alex Dakolo, which led to Busola punishing her. However, Halle felt the punishment was unjust, alleging that her mother displayed favoritism towards Alex, her only brother.
“What I did was wrong but one thing that doesn’t sit right with me is my mother’s unfair behaviour towards me,” Halle wrote candidly to her father.
She further stated that, while she acknowledged her own faults in the incident, she felt that her mother often gave Alex allowances she herself was not granted.
“I know I shouldn’t [feel this way], but she can be very biased towards me,” Halle added.
In the note, Halle appealed to her father to review the situation and also requested that he present the letter to her mother as proof of her honest feelings.
Timi Dakolo shared the touching note with fans via social media, sparking lighthearted and relatable discussions about sibling rivalry and parental perceptions in Nigerian households.
