Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has fired back strongly at investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo following shocking claims about her late mother.
Kemi Olunloyo had alleged via Facebook that Iyabo’s mother died from complications related to paranoid schizophrenia, and accused Iyabo of maltreating her until her death.
“Contrary to rumours that she sacrificed her mom for fame, Iyabo Ojo’s mother actually died of paranoid schizophrenia. She abused the 67-year-old woman to the end,” Kemi alleged.
In a fiery Instagram live session, Iyabo Ojo dismissed the accusations, calling Kemi’s life “pathetic” and claiming the journalist would beg for money until her last days.
She insisted she cared for her mother until the very end and pronounced curses back on Kemi and her generation if the allegations were false.
“Kemi Olunloyo, you shall beg for money until you d!e… You think you can come for my kids? You will meet your Waterloo,” Iyabo warned.
She further dared Kemi to prove her claims, stressing that she remained a “child of grace” who provided for her mother in life and in death.
Iyabo concluded by saying that Kemi would remain obsessed with her because attacking her name would guarantee attention and survival in the media space.
