Canadian singer Justin Bieber has sparked fresh concern among fans after sharing a candid post about his ongoing battle with mental health challenges.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 30-year-old musician revealed he feels “exhausted” and weighed down by persistent efforts to fix himself.
“The more I try to grow, the more self-focused I become, and it’s exhausting. I’m tired of thinking about myself,” Bieber wrote.
The “Peaches” singer confessed to feeling broken, admitting that constant reminders from others to heal only deepen his frustration.
“People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already? I know I’m broken and I know I have anger issues,” he stated.
Bieber also expressed that his lifelong struggle to meet expectations had left him drained and angry, despite his ongoing efforts at self-improvement.
“I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. It just keeps making me more tired and more angry,” he shared.
In the midst of his emotional honesty, Bieber credited his faith in Jesus as his primary source of strength, explaining that this faith inspires him to shift focus from himself to others.
“Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others. Because honestly, I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately. Aren’t you?” he concluded.
This isn’t the first time the global pop star has been open about his mental health journey, having previously discussed struggles with depression, anxiety, and fame-related stress.
