Pavel Durov, billionaire founder of Telegram, has disclosed that over 100 children he fathered — including six from three partners and more than 100 others via sperm donation — will all equally inherit his estimated $13.9 billion fortune.
Speaking to French magazine Le Point, Durov stressed:
“They are all my children and will all have the same rights! I don’t want them to tear each other apart after my death.”
However, the heirs won’t access the wealth for 30 years.
“I want them to live normal lives, build themselves up alone, trust themselves, create, not depend on a bank account,” he said.
The 40-year-old Russian tech mogul — who resides in exile — also dismissed serious criminal charges in France, calling them “totally absurd.” French prosecutors accuse him of failing to moderate Telegram to prevent its use for illegal activities like drug trafficking and child abuse content, claims he denies.
Telegram currently boasts over 1 billion monthly users globally.
