Nigerian actress, TV host, and content creator Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, marked her birthday on Friday with a touching message of gratitude to God and a heartfelt tribute to her late sister, Adepero Agbaje.
The vibrant media personality shared stunning new photos on her Instagram page, accompanied by an emotional caption expressing her gratitude for divine protection, abundant blessings, and the love surrounding her life.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLUWABUKUNMI, THE PEARL QUEEN!” Kiekie wrote. “This is my era of generational riches and wealth. Also we call this era, iyalalaya anybody!”
Reflecting on her journey, Kiekie praised God for the multiple platforms where she thrives — as a TV host, actress, content creator, fashion designer, and brand influencer.
“Year in year out, I’m super grateful to God for this good life he has given me. The love I was born into, the ones I met and grew into, and the one I gave birth to. I’m grateful for it all,” she wrote.
She also acknowledged her imperfections while appreciating God’s continuous favour:
“I know I’m not the most righteous before You, Lord! Yet You favour me so much, bless me endlessly, and protect me jealously. My Father and Maker, I’m eternally grateful to YOU.”
Kiekie declared blessings upon her new age, invoking the Holy Trinity:
“I open my new year in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! AMEN!!”
The 34-year-old also honoured the memory of her late sister Adepero Agbaje, who passed away in 2023:
“Happy posthumous birthday to my sister girl Adepero as well. Together forever we shall celebrate.”
