President Tinubu Returns to Nigeria After Two-Week Foreign Tour

Tinubu Arrives in Saint Lucia, Begins Two-Nation Diplomatic Tour Ahead of BRICS Summit

President Bola Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria today, Saturday, July 13, following a two-nation diplomatic visit to Saint Lucia and Brazil.

His planned arrival was confirmed by Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, who shared the update via his official X handle.

President Tinubu departed Abuja on June 28, 2025, for a state visit to Saint Lucia, aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s ties with Caribbean nations and promoting stronger South-South cooperation.

On July 4, the President left Saint Lucia for Brazil, where he participated in the 2025 BRICS Summit, which held from July 6 to 7.

The trip underscores the administration’s continued push to deepen Nigeria’s international presence, economic partnerships, and multilateral cooperation.
