Nigerian socialite Sophia Egbueje has firmly debunked circulating rumors that she launched an OnlyFans account with a ₦300,000 monthly subscription, calling the claim false and misleading.
The speculation began after a female influencer known as Vampz shared a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting that Sophia had joined the adult content platform with an exclusive premium page.
Sophia Reacts: “It’s Not OnlyFans, It’s a Fan Page for an App”
Responding via Snapchat, Sophia dismissed the claims and issued a blunt clarification.
“Someone tell this idiot it’s a fan page. For my friend’s new app launch, not an OF account. Olodo,” she posted.
She further requested the identity of the individual behind the misinformation, stating:
“I need full info of this person.”
The influencer made it clear that the page in question was connected to the launch of a friend’s app, not a subscription-based adult content platform.
Addressing the Misinformation
Sophia’s quick response appears aimed at stopping the spread of false narratives and damage to her reputation, especially as she continues to grow her brand in Nigeria’s digital and fashion scene.
The incident highlights a broader issue of misinformation on social media, where screenshots and unverified claims can quickly spiral into viral rumors.
