Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has openly criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, calling it “the worst government in the history of Nigeria.”
Speaking during a recent church service, the fiery preacher expressed deep concern over the rising level of hunger, suffering, and hardship facing millions of Nigerians.
“This is the worst government in the history of Nigeria,” he said. “You can’t do anything to me. This is the worst—worst electricity, worst leadership. If you feel because you can afford things, you don’t care about people who can’t, then you have a problem.”
Suleman lamented that the current economic reality has made life unbearable for the average citizen, with many Nigerians struggling to meet basic needs like food.
“People are hungry. Sometimes I’m afraid to read my text messages. If I get 1,000 messages, 900 are about food. Will somebody lie with hunger? Somebody can lie about needing a car or a house—but not food,” he stated.
He went on to praise Ghana for its better support of its citizens, urging the Nigerian government to do more to alleviate the hardship in the country.
Despite his frustration, Apostle Suleman called on Nigerians not to give up, but to turn to prayer as the only tool left in the face of worsening conditions.
“The only instrument we have now is prayer. We are praying that God will remember us.”
His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, as many Nigerians continue to battle inflation, job losses, and high food prices under Tinubu’s economic reforms.
