Big Brother Naija Season 10 host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has cautioned housemates against laziness, oversleeping, and premature brand promotion, stating that such behavior could lead to early eviction from the show.

Speaking during the second launch night on Sunday, July 28, where 14 new male housemates were introduced—bringing the total number of contestants to a record-breaking 34—Ebuka made it clear that the game had officially started, and there would be no second chances for inactive housemates.

“This is not the time to be sleeping for two hours during the day,” Ebuka warned. “If you came to use the first week to ‘get to know’ housemates, you’ll lose valuable time. We need people with energy.”

He also addressed a rising trend where contestants start promoting brands too early in the game—a strategy that, according to Ebuka, could backfire.

“Don’t start doing promotion for brands yet. That might get you evicted.”

Despite the stern warnings, the BBNaija host encouraged housemates to fully embrace the experience:

“Don’t be afraid to have fun, speak your mind. Enjoy yourselves in that house and make friends.”

This year’s season, themed “BBNaija: 10 Over 10,” introduced a major twist to the show’s format by splitting housemates into two groups and introducing an Interim Head of House role.

The season kicked off with 20 contestants during the premiere on Saturday night, with an additional 14 male housemates joining on Sunday—making it the season with the highest number of housemates in BBNaija history.

Fans are already buzzing with excitement as the house dynamics begin to unfold with diverse personalities, drama, and unexpected strategies.
