An old video of Fuji music legend, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, in a phone conversation with Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has resurfaced online.
The clip re-emerged shortly after the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) placed the musician on a six-month no-fly list.
In the video, President Tinubu was heard calling K1 De Ultimate to offer condolences over the death of his mother, Alhaja Halima Shadiya Anifowoshe, who died at the age of 105.
Expressing his appreciation during the call, K1 De Ultimate said: “Why will I suffer? You are the president. Thank you very much, sir.”
The resurfaced footage has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media.
A user identified as Abacha wrote: “Probably, that inspired him to try blocking a jet from taxiing off. He jammed another high-headed woman pilot that nearly severed his head.”
