Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has unveiled his highly anticipated “Summer Break 25” playlist, his first summer break playlist since 2022, and it’s already making waves for its rich blend of global sounds.
The 46-track playlist, released on Spotify, showcases Hamilton’s eclectic taste in music, spotlighting Nigerian Afrobeats stars alongside international chart-toppers.
Nigerian-British artist Odeal shines with three entries, while Grammy-winner Burna Boy features twice. Other Afrobeats powerhouses making the cut include Wizkid, Asake, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, Lojay, Shallipopi, and Fido, each with standout tracks.
Global stars also earned spots on the playlist, with Justin Bieber’s “DAISIES” and Don Toliver’s “Embarrassed” (feat. Travis Scott) among the highlights. Surprisingly, none of the tracks from Hamilton’s co-produced Formula 1 blockbuster movie soundtrack were included.
