Woman Arrested After Causing Chaos at Drake’s OVO Store in New York

Drake Calls Out Betrayal in Explosive ‘Fighting Irish’ Freestyle

While Drake continues to enjoy massive love on his European tour, trouble brewed across the Atlantic in New York City after a woman was arrested for vandalizing his OVO store in Manhattan’s Noho neighborhood.

According to reports from Page Six and TMZ, police arrested Queens resident Shauna Stoner on Tuesday (August 26) after she caused over $2,300 worth of property damage. She was charged with criminal mischief and alleged attempted arson.

Eyewitnesses claimed Stoner tried to set the store on fire, though no official footage or police confirmation has backed up that claim. However, a TMZ-obtained video showed her smashing windows and items with a hammer inside the store.

“It was just to cut up his clothes that he stole. My designs!” Stoner shouted as police took her into custody.

The woman reportedly spray-painted OVO items, pulled out a knife, and destroyed clothing and merchandise before smashing the storefront’s windows. A representative for Drake declined to comment when contacted by Page Six.

This isn’t the first time OVO stores have been vandalized. Earlier this year, following Kendrick Lamar’s diss track Not Like Us, graffiti of the song’s title appeared at Drake’s London store. However, there is no indication that Stoner’s rampage was related to the ongoing rap beef.

Sources close to the store also confirmed that she has no ties to Drake’s October’s Very Own brand. It remains unclear when the New York OVO store will reopen.

Meanwhile, Drake has been keeping fans entertained on the big screen. He recently appeared in the trailer for In Whose Name?, a Kanye West documentary, and will feature in Degrassi: Whatever It Takes, which revisits the hit show’s cultural impact and the careers of its cast.
