Veteran Nigerian actor and comedian, Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule, popularly known as Okey Bakassi, is celebrating a remarkable milestone — 24 years of marriage with his wife, Ezinne.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the comedian shared a series of heartwarming photos with his wife, accompanied by an emotional message reflecting on their journey together.
“On this day 24 years ago, we stood before God, family, and friends in Port Harcourt – the city where we first met – to exchange our marital vows. We were young, excited, and completely unaware of the magnitude of challenges that lay ahead… But through it all, with the blessing of our three beautiful children, God’s grace, the love of family, and the unwavering support of friends, we pulled through,” he wrote.
Okey went on to shower his wife with love and gratitude for standing by him through life’s ups and downs: “My darling wife, thank you for making this journey look easy. You’re truly the best. Let’s continue holding hands and walking into the sunset… I love you from now until eternity. Happy 24th anniversary, Zizi.”
The couple, who tied the knot in 2001, are blessed with three children.
