Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola had a heartfelt yet humorous message for his daughter, Temi Otedola, at her wedding to singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, in Iceland.
In a video from the ceremony on Friday, Otedola told his daughter:
“He’s your husband and he’s your boss. There’s no more dad. Don’t call me.”
The wedding, held on August 8 at the Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík, was attended by close family and friends, including Temi’s mother, Nana Otedola, her sister, DJ Cuppy, and billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote.
Reflecting on his first encounter with Mr Eazi back in 2017, Otedola revealed that he had predicted the singer would one day marry Temi.
He also opened up about the challenges faced while planning the wedding, recalling an earlier engagement in Dubai and a storm that damaged their tent just a week before the Iceland ceremony.
The billionaire praised his wife, Nana, for raising their children while he focused on building his empire, before advising Temi to stay committed to her marriage.
He further urged the couple to resolve their issues privately, emphasizing the importance of keeping family matters within the home.
Temi and Mr Eazi had earlier tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Monaco on May 9, followed by their traditional Yoruba wedding in Dubai in July.
The couple got engaged in April 2022, four years after first meeting at an event hosted by DJ Cuppy.
