Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has once again raised alarm over impersonators after a woman accused him of scamming her out of $5,000 in an online romance scheme.
The 45-year-old shared on Instagram a screenshot of an email sent by the woman, who alleged she had been deceived for over two years by someone claiming to be him.
The mail, addressed to “Nino B,” read in part:
“Hey Scam Master… the $5000 you scammed from me is just enough for the FBI to consider it a felony. I have receipts for every dollar taken, and I have enough pictures, emails, screenshots and checks, not to mention the bank transactions… your 2+ years of romance scamming me is over!”
Reacting in his caption, Ninalowo distanced himself from the allegation, stressing that the woman had fallen victim to fraudsters using his identity.
“So after this madam realizes she has been scammed, then she does her due diligence to find the REAL Bolanle Ninalowo’s IG & Email and ever since, na so so emails of threat & accusations! I really hope you & many others who fall victim to these impersonators WAKE UP. Note: if anyone on this God’s own earth is in a current or about to initiate an online relationship with any one of the many supposed ME’s, YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED or are about to! Enough said,” he wrote.
This is not the first time the actor has cried out over impersonation.

In March 2025, he lamented having multiple fake TikTok accounts created in his name despite not owning one, writing: “Dang! And I am not even on TikTok. How do I now open a REAL account? People dey para ooo!!!”

Back in 2019, Ninalowo revealed that scammers had created a fake passport and ATM card with his details. He also disclosed that a woman was once blackmailed after sending nude photos to someone posing as him.
Ninalowo has now urged fans to be vigilant and avoid engaging in online relationships with impersonators pretending to be him.
