On Sunday, actress and America’s Got Talent judge Sofía Vergara was unexpectedly rushed to the emergency room after suffering a sudden eye condition, forcing her to miss her scheduled appearance at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards.
The 53-year-old star, who has over 59.3 million Instagram followers, broke the news herself with a candid post.
“Didn’t make it to the Emmys but made it to the ER. Sorry I had to cancel! Craziest eye [allergy] right before getting in the car!” she wrote, alongside videos of herself reclined in a hospital bed and rinsing her eye with a specialized faucet.
