Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sparked reactions with a new declaration on the 2027 general elections.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the street-pop star said his endorsement will go to whichever presidential candidate offers him money first.
“Whoever drops money first between Peter Obi, President Bola Tinubu, or the PDP is the one I will endorse, and I will make sure my fans vote for him. I can’t go about hungry; vote for your helper,” Portable stated.
The remark comes months after the singer criticised Labour Party’s Peter Obi for giving him only a handshake when they met in Benin City, contrasting it with his praise for Seyi Tinubu in July, whom he credited for “changing his life.”
