2027: Kwankwaso denies plans to join APC

Rabiu Kwankwaso Meets President Tinubu in Abuja Amid Rising 2027 Election Talks

Former Kano State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has refuted claims that he and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf have written to the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressing interest in rejoining the party.

In a statement released on Friday, Kwankwaso dismissed the reports making the rounds online as false, insisting that no such letter had been sent to any political party.

“We have been alerted to some online statements suggesting that we have submitted a letter of intent to join a political party in the country,” he stated.

“We would like to clarify that we have not made any such submission to any party.

“The public is therefore advised to stay informed of any further information regarding our matter through the established official channels,” he added.
